The Ireland Question Forum is a place to discuss Northern Ireland's place in the United Kingdom. It is pro-Union by purpose, and respectful disagreement is welcome.
The rules
- Be civil. Argue the point, not the person.
- No hate. No abuse of anyone because of their religion, community background, nationality, race, sex, sexuality or disability. Sectarian abuse will be removed.
- No threats or violence. No threats, intimidation, or praise or support for violence, terrorism or any proscribed organisation, from any side.
- No personal information. Do not post anyone's address, workplace, phone number or private photos. Doing so leads to a ban.
- Nothing illegal. Illegal content is removed and may be reported to the PSNI or other authorities.
- No spam, advertising or pretending to be someone else.
- Back up your claims. Link to sources where you can.
- You must be 18 or over to join.
How moderation works
- Posts from new members are checked by a moderator before they appear.
- Posts that contain filtered words are held for review.
- If you break the rules, we may remove posts, give a warning, suspend your account or ban you.
Reporting a post
Use the Report button on any post, or email . We review reports as soon as we can, normally within 48 hours.
Complaints and appeals
If you think a moderation decision was wrong, email with a link to the post and why. We will review it and reply.
